These Mighty Bites are a recipe of concentrated energy that deliver around 160 to 200 calories per small handful, making them a perfect on-the-go snack. Just remember, because nuts are healthy doesn’t mean you can eat as many as you want. Not all nuts are created equal either. You should be buying raw, organic, un-salted nuts.  Continue Reading…

I can’t believe that’s vegan mañg!

If you’ve never tried a tofu scramble, you’d be surprised to tofu takes on the flavour and texture of scrambled eggs!

This is a great pre-workout or weekend breakfast, and you can add any vegetables you like. Tofu provides a good helping of protein, turmeric gives a kick of anti-inflammatory and appealing colour, the nutritional yeast adds a cheesy flavour and some added Vitamin B-12, and the cumin, cayenne and salsa gives it a mexican kick! I just scooped up some delicious veggies from Nutrient Dense Farm’s stand at the Squamish Farmer’s Market, Here’s a quick recipe for a light summer dinner or side dish for your backyard BBQ! Continue Reading…
