There’s nothing like a balmy spring day of sunshine, slabs, and my furry sidekick! Kula and I had a super fun morning cruising down Hueso, as the warm sunshine landed nicely on the trail’s south facing rock slabs.
Kula and I were feeling like getting a good dose of zest today! Chossy Schlabz is a super fun Squamish slab trail, which was even more exciting in the wet!

Paddling out into the surf, the spray of waves crashing reaches your face and suddenly, you’re wide awake. Heart racing as you push your way through the incoming set.
You make it through one wave, but the next one sucks you backwards and you lose a lot of progress. Suddenly an enormous tunneling giant grabs you and pulls you under—tumbling, breathless and afraid—just when you think you can take any more, you pop up to the surface. Weekend adventure to Gnarnia had some added zest on 5th Snowman! Snow and ice won’t stop the laughs and craziness with my friends at Cypress this weekend. It took a few turns to get acquainted with 5th in its winter coat, but the fun beckoned me with its carrot!
I experimented with the GoPro mount today to try and get Kula’s perspective down Pangor on Mt. Seymour… she was NOT impressed, but we tried! haha! Poor girl…
I also got shot some highlights of the “Hollowed out Tree” feature, and some great coaching from my friend on the “Boogie Nights Rock Drop”.
